TUTOR: Michael Goheen ABOUT THIS TUTOR: Michael is a teacher and one-on-one tutor with over 7 years of experience. He graduated from Virginia Tech back in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and he has been teaching and tutoring ever since. Teaching is Michael's passion. Over the years, he has tutored all kinds of students from many different backgrounds in a variety of different subjects. He has worked with countless individual students one-on-one in their homes, both in-person and online. He has assisted students directly in the classroom over at Justice High School as part of their Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) College Readiness Class. He has taught math classes to advanced middle school and high school students at the prestigious BrightNUp Academy Center in Reston, VA. He has also helped students with special needs and learning disabilities, particularly students who have ADHD and auditory processing disorders. He has even helped out students from all over the world struggling on programming assignments at CodeHS.com. Michael offers flexible tutoring in a wide variety of middle school, high school, and college level subjects. Whether you, your child, or someone you know is struggling in school, he is available to help and answer any questions you may have. SUBJECTS OFFERED: AP Computer Science, Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, Web Design, Programming Skills, Programming Concepts, and General Computing Skills. HOW ONLINE APPOINTMENTS WORK: A computer and a webcam is all that is required for online appointments. After booking a new appointment, you will receive an email confirming the appointment time with a clickable link to the online meeting room.
